DID YOU SEE THAT SHOT??!!!!!!!!!!

The boys won their first game yesterday, Thursday, March 23rd, at the State Tournament!  If you missed seeing the Buzzer-Beating half-court shot that Cade Goggleye sunk to win the game, you missed an exciting moment.  We were watching the game online at home (two of our girls were at the tournament in the North Woods Pep Band), and all of us screamed when that shot went in.  Congratulations, boys!!!  Good luck on your semi-final match today, Friday, March 24th, at 2:00 p.m.

You can watch the game on TV on Channel 13.

The North Woods Boys Basketball team headed off down to the Twin Cities this morning, Wednesday, March 22, 2017,  to participate in the State High School Basketball Tournament.  There was a Pep Rally at the school to send them off, and then they were escorted through town on their way South by the Fire Departement and Sherrif's Department.  I heard the sirens coming down Vermilion Drive and waved and snapped some photos of them as they went by our house.  My Mom was on Main (River) Street to wave them off.

North Woods will play Central Minnesota Christian on Thursday, March 23 at Williams Arena-U of M. Game time is 5:00 pm.  See the tournament brackets here.

Good luck Grizzlies!!!!
