It was a gray and wet morning on Monday, May 29th, for the Memorial Day program.  Many gathered downtown for the parade as the VFW, Scouts, and others marched to the bridge. A ceremony was then held at the bridge to remember servicemen buried at sea, and the people then assembled at the Cook Cemetery for another similar ceremony.
