Georgia Kandiko Water Color Workshop—

Currently, Northwoods Friends of the Arts is hosting a special artist, Georgia Kandiko, who will conduct  a two day watercolor painting workshop May 8th and 9th.   “All About Color” will be held at Doug  Johnson Community Center on that Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  All registrations must be paid by March 31st to attend the class on May 8th.  The at cost price of this class is $60.  To register: Email nwfamn.org@gmail.com  Or call Alberta Whitenack 218-666-2153. Spring Art Expo 2017 has put out the call for artists in the area to submit art for display in businesses in the Cook area.  See the opportunity by calling Alberta at  218-666-2153 or on the website: www.nwfamn.org .
The next SAE planning meeting is Tues., March 28 at 11:00 a.m. at The Gallery in Cook.  Everyone is welcome.  Creative ideas are welcome.

Book Signing: The author, H.A. Dale, will be signing books at The Gallery April 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..  He has written a book, "Legends of Kee Tov".
