Summer 2017

by Muriel Simonson

Free Concerts are held at the gazebo in the City park every Wednesday from 6 to 8:30 pm featuring family friendly groups or bands. They will continue through August 30.  August 2 was the Hutter Bunch.  Coming up will be August 9 - Everybody’s Uncle,  August 16- Josh Palmi & Friends, August 23 - Wendy Eastman and the final for the summer will be Beefeater Brothers on August 30.

A variety of people, from the young to the old, gather to enjoy the music, enjoy the nice evenings, visit with one another. There is food available to purchase from the St. Paul’s Lutheran booth. You might enjoy a burger, hot dog, chips, or maybe an ice cream cone or root beer float. Of course, coffee is available too.

Several community organizations and other contributions provide funding for this activity.  In the event of inclement weather it is held in the VFW.

The Hutter Bunch this evening, August 2nd.

People enjoying the music, lovely evening & visiting.

All ages were in the audience from the young...

And the senior citizens.

Attendees come by car, some walk, ride bike, and this young man drove over in his special motorized chair.

Food is available from the St. Paul's Lutheran booth.
